I feel like I requested a decent variety of sweet smut, noncon, and kinky stuff, and I cannot stress enough that I don't have a preference. I love all of these things and I did not request anything I wouldn't be thrilled to get! I am most interested in reading something you are excited to write, as opposed to trying to tick a bunch of boxes or whatever, so please take everything else I have/had to say as mere suggestions.

Evie/Mal | Solo: Mal | Evie & Jay & Mal & Carlos de Vil
What I love about it: This is a fandom I fell into long before seeing the canon, and I much prefer the fandom interpretation of it all, aka Darker Disney. The first book touches on all the reasons why the Isle would have been a horrendously dark place to grow up--they got Auradon's scraps for foods, the VILLAINS were raising CHILDREN that they canonically do not seem to love, etc etc. You really cannot go with an interpretation of Descendants that is too dark for me.
What I love about Mal/Evie: Mal and Evie are one of my actual OTPs, I love them. They started out as enemies pre-canon (per the book) but it's just very clear they'll do anything for another, and it's a bond that probably wouldn't have happened had they grown up anywhere else. But as different as they are, they know each other so well, and you cannot convince me they are not ultimately each the most important person in the other's orbit.
What I love about Core Four friendship: Honestly, same as above! I just feel like they are all willing to go feral to protect one another in any combination, and have seen each other through their roughest shit. I love that they probably don't know how to talk about their love for one another, but that their actions undoubtedly speak for them.
What I would love in fic: I love a Mal-emphasis, my traumatized little feral protector of the group, but I also love Evie. I would prefer the focus stay on one or both of them, but I'm good with you taking them in any direction you want. Want to torture them? Great. Want to have them turn into the horrific villains they could have been? Great.
Basically, I am perfectly fine with a story for this that coddles my faves or rips my ship/the friendships apart in the name of exploring darker shit. For instance, I adore this dark AU where Evie is evil and essentially tortures everyone, because even though it breaks my little shipper heart, I'm fascinated by the idea of going this far canon divergent and pushing those limits. I would say, though, that if you take a route like this and turn Mal or Evie truly villainous against one another or Jay or Carlos (specifically, idc if you turn them against anyone else lol), I prefer it to be noticeably not in line with canon. Just so it doesn't brush up against character bashing, if that makes sense.
I'm also fine with turning literally any character outside of the Core Four into a bad guy for the sake of fic, canon divergent or canon compliant. Or AU. Happy to have any sort of AU for this exchange.
Fandom-specific likes: I love a Kim emphasis and I love all their friendships, but as I said with Descendants, feel free to say fuck it to all that and pit whomever you want against each other--though I would love if it was angsty on at least one side if you do
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Ruby Hale & Daisy Johnson | Solo: Daisy Johnson | Solo: Ruby Hale | Daisy Johnson & Jemma Simmons & Fitz
What I love about it: Daisy is probably my favorite character ever. A traumatized badass who is endlessly loyal and occasionally very stupid in her martyrdom? Yes, please. I also love the found family aspect of this show, and adore almost every single combination of characters in terms of friendship.
Why I love Daisy/Ruby: Nobody ships this, I'm aware. My rarest of rare pairs. But like, come on. Ruby is introduced with a poster of Daisy's superhero alter ego, Quake, on her wall. It's obsession from the start. I love that Ruby basically lived the life Daisy would have if SHIELD hadn't bounced her around all those years--she was hidden away at HYDRA and raised to be a weapon, and boy did it fuck her up. I love that Daisy desperately wanted to give her a chance to become better.
Why I love the Bus Kids: Daisy, Jemma, and Fitz have been there from the start. They got thrust into this whole thing without really knowing what they were getting into, and I feel like it bonded them. In general, I just love Daisy's friendships with everyone because she spent her whole life bouncing between foster homes and never having a place to land and now she's finally found her people and it's just so aughhh I love it. Especially when it gets angsty and she questions things and feels betrayed and feels like everything is her fault and has to get talked down. Ahem anyway.
What I would love in fic: In terms of Daisy/Ruby or just Ruby solo, my god, anything. There's so little. I did nominate them as & (I don't remember why lol) but happy with whatever type of relationship you'd want to give them. I'm interested in them as enemies, mutually self-destructive fuck buddies, tentative allies, lovers trying to sway one another to the other side, whatever.

My notes on this are going to be shorter than the ones above simply because I'm not copying and pasting anything from other letters, but I assure you I love it too!
What I love about it: Ugh The Magicians was just so much fucking fun. I loved all the worldbuilding, and how it always veered into weird and dark territory while the characters tried to keep their senses of humor. I really liked the idea of Marina and Julia since they didn't really get along at first but of course Marina was the one Julia turned to when everything went to hell--and look what it got her.
What I would love in fic: I haven't read a ton of Magicians fic so I don't have as formed opinions here as I do for the others, I just really, really love the canon. So honestly, wherever you want to go with it! Make whomever evil, create whatever dynamics you like, I'm in.

What I love about it: Okay, is this the greatest show? No. Not really lol. But I loved getting to see Wonder Girl and Raven in live action, and I love what I've read of the comics. Broody!Dick Grayson also feels like he would work well for something like Goreswap, so here we are!
What I would love in fic: I do enjoy the protective relationship between Dick and Raven in the show, and would be equally happy to see that turned against him or turned on its head if he flipped a switch. Same regarding his friendship with Donna. I feel like the show put such an emphasis on exploring the characters' darknesses (whether the things that they did or the things that were done to them) but really skimped on that with Donna, when there was definitely the opportunity to do better.
I nominated some pairings whose dynamics I enjoy, but I absolutely do not care in what way you want to interpret them, or if you want to bring in other characters for heavy screen time. I will say I prefer to include an emphasis on either Donna or Raven but outside of that, go nuts.

Fandom-specific likes: m/f friendships, protective/self-sacrificing behavior, being terrible with feelings, the villains are the bad guys but fuck actually the heroes are the bad guys too, we have no one to look out for us but we look after our own, abuse/aftermath of abuse

What I love about it: I love that they tried to give all the Rangers some weird teen angsty backstories, and it really felt like they should have just said fuck it and pushed things all the way to a dark R version of Power Rangers. (Did you ever see Joseph Kahn's Power Rangers fan film? You don't have to, but it was definitely trying to do a darker version.) I also just love the unlikely friendship dynamic that starts with all the characters, but especially Kim and Trini, in the movie and gets taken to the next level in the fandom.
What I would love in fic: This is usually the part where I say I'm just as happy with fic focused on their angsty high school lives as their time as Rangers, but this seems like an exchange where the latter would really get the chance to shine. That said, of course I AM still good with you focusing on their normal lives, although I would love it if it's at least still acknowledged that they are Rangers.
I also have absolutely no qualms with you playing fast and loose with the rules of the world, since Power Rangers canon varies and there's a lot this particular one doesn't get into the nitty gritty of. For instance, some fic writers interpret it as their powers making them indestructible when they aren't morphed and others suggest it just makes them stronger. What I'm saying is, don't feel like you need to bend yourself over backwards to make the logic fit if you decide to torture them. Just set your version up and I'm good.

Thank you for offering to write something for me, I can't wait to read it! The most important thing to know here is that I would be the most excited to read something YOU are enthusiastic about writing, as opposed to something that aligns with my prompts or suggestions, so please feel free to toss them fully out the window, especially if they are giving you a hard time. I'm new to exchanges so I haven't really gotten the hang of the best way to approach requests just yet.
That said, here is a reminder of my overall DNWs, with a little added detail:
I also cannot stress enough that if you're familiar with whatever fandom you choose to write for and know your idea has been done a thousand times, I am absolutely fine with that. I love reading variations on the same thing in fan fic over and over, especially if it hits my likes and character interests.
Also, the only reason I'm specifically tagging "smut" as a general like onto Descendants and Power Rangers rather than Barely Lethal and Ruby/Daisy for AoS is because the latter two are lacking in non-smut fics, BUT if that's what you prefer to write, please by all means go for it! My smut likes/dislikes can be found in last year's Consent Issues Exchange creator letter, until I get around to organizing all this stuff properly.

Barely Lethal is about a teen spy/assassin named Megan (Hailee Steinfeld) who fakes her own death and goes to live with a normal family (the mom is Rachael Harris! the daughter is Dove Cameron! there's also a small boy child!) as a foreign exchange student from Canada. It's very Comphet Canon, but fortunately the teeny tiny fandom knows to queer it up.
What I love about it: I love the contrast between Megan's optimistic naivety and Liz's teen angst and I feel like there are so many opportunities for them to complement and challenge one another.
What I would love in fic: Anything action-y or angsty or hurt/comfort would be awesome. I would probably prefer something that leads to a relationship or is pre-relationship as opposed to firmly established relationship, but I'm good with anything!

If you go friendship route, I would prefer the emphasis stay with one or both of them, but I would be fine with it revolving around any combination of the main four's friendship outside of that. I'm also fine with turning literally any character outside of the Core Four into a bad guy for the sake of fic, and I'm also fine with any of the Four lashing out at/hurting one another in their trauma, although I would prefer that option be nuanced and not just that they Suck. What I would love in fic: Honestly just more Power Rangers fic in general, it's pretty dead these days. Obviously hurt/comfort is always a great option for me, as is Kim/Trini smut. I'm interested in their Ranger adventures and I'm also interested in just the angsty high school aspect of it all (I'm fine with them still being Power Rangers as background or not). I do prefer a Kim-emphasis but good with either!

Agents of SHIELD is of course about a team led by Phil Coulson on adventures trying to protect earth from increasingly dangerous threats, ranging from alien invasions to robots to time travel shenanigans.
Why I love it: Daisy is probably my favorite character ever. A traumatized badass who is endlessly loyal and occasionally very stupid in her martyrdom? Yes, please. I also love the found family aspect of this show, and adore almost every single combination of characters in terms of friendship, so even though I would like a Daisy or Ruby focus, please don't feel limited by the characters I've listed otherwise. I'm the one who nominated them to begin with, I just didn't want to overwhelm with "Daisy Johnson & basically everyone."
Why I love the Bus Kids: Daisy, Jemma, and Fitz have been there from the start. They got thrust into this whole thing without really knowing what they were getting into, and I feel like it bonded them. In general, I just love Daisy's friendships with everyone because she spent her whole life bouncing between foster homes and never having a place to land and now she's finally found her people and it's just so aughhh I love it. Especially when it gets angsty and she questions things and feels betrayed and feels like everything is her fault and has to get talked down. Ahem anyway.
Why I love Daisy/Ruby: Nobody ships this, I'm aware. My rarest of rare pairs. But like, come on. Ruby is introduced with a poster of Daisy's superhero alterego, Quake, on her wall. It's obsession from the start. I love that Ruby basically lived the life Daisy would have if SHIELD hadn't bounced her around all those years--she was hidden away at HYDRA and raised to be a weapon, and boy did it fuck her up. I love that Daisy desperately wanted to give her a chance to become better.
What I would love in fic: In terms of Daisy/Ruby, my god, anything. There's so little. Almost all of it is smut, which is fine, you can give me smut, but I'd love anything exploring the What Could Have Beens. Also, the only reason I'm specifically tagging "smut" as a general like onto Descendants and Power Rangers rather than Barely Lethal and Ruby/Daisy for AoS is because the latter two are lacking in non-smut fics, BUT if that's what you prefer to write, please by all means go for it! My smut likes/dislikes can be found in last year's Consent Issues Exchange creator letter, until I get around to organizing all this stuff properly.

Barely Lethal is about a teen spy/assassin named Megan (Hailee Steinfeld) who fakes her own death and goes to live with a normal family (the mom is Rachael Harris! the daughter is Dove Cameron! there's also a small boy child!) as a foreign exchange student from Canada. It's very Comphet Canon, but fortunately the teeny tiny fandom knows to queer it up.
What I love about it: I love the contrast between Megan's optimistic naivety and Liz's teen angst and I feel like there are so many opportunities for them to complement and challenge one another.
What I would love in fic: Anything action-y or angsty or hurt/comfort would be awesome. I would probably prefer something that leads to a relationship or is pre-relationship as opposed to firmly established relationship, but I'm good with anything!
Some ideas:
- Megan being scary protective with her skills
- Megan accidentally hurting Liz because of her own kneejerk reactions to things that surprise her that are hard to shake
- a rewrite of any scene canon to be more angsty/serious/what have you

Descendants! If you're unfamiliar, the gist is that all the Disney villains got sent to the Isle of the Lost, where there is no magic, and had kids. Four of the villain kids get chosen to go to Auradon and go to school with the rhero kids and it is...an adjustment.
What I love about it: This is a fandom I fell into long before seeing the canon, and I much prefer the fandom interpretation of it all, aka Darker Disney. The first book touches on all the reasons why the Isle would have been a horrendously dark place to grow up--they got Auradon's scraps for foods, the VILLAINS were raising CHILDREN that they canonically do not seem to love, etc etc. You really cannot go with an interpretation of Descendants that is too dark for me.
What I love about Mal/Evie: Mal and Evie are one of my actual OTPs, I love them. They started out as enemies pre-canon (per the book) but it's just very clear they'll do anything for another, and it's a bond that probably wouldn't have happened had they grown up anywhere else. But as different as they are, they know each other so well, and you cannot convince me they are not ultimately each the most important person in the other's orbit.
What I love about Core Four friendship: Honestly, same as above! I just feel like they are all willing to go feral to protect one another in any combination, and have seen each other through their roughest shit. I love that they probably don't know how to talk about their love for one another, but that their actions undoubtedly speak for them.
What I would love in fic: Ayyyyy hurt/comfort or smut (or both...?) would definitely be ideal here. I love a Mal-emphasis, my traumatized little feral protector of the group, but I also love Evie. If you go friendship route, I would prefer the emphasis stay with one or both of them, but I would be fine with it revolving around any combination of the main four's friendship outside of that. I'm also fine with turning literally any character outside of the Core Four into a bad guy for the sake of fic, and I'm also fine with any of the Four lashing out at/hurting one another in their trauma, although I would prefer that option be nuanced and not just that they Suck.
