Hello writer! Sorry for the delay. If you've already started something or already had an idea for a fic, please feel more than free to ignore everything I am including in this letter. I am generally pretty easy to please with this exchange 😁
But if you're still looking for inspo/guidance, read on...
Firstly, here is my general creator letter, which is a WIP but has a lot of basic info.
Candy Hearts note on shipping: In general, please know that I am easy to please when it comes to "/" requests. I love pre-relationship fics, or things where there is even a hint in that direction. So don't worry about whether something is "shippy enough" to work for me. As long as you don't completely obliterate the chances of my ship happening somewhere in the future, I promise, I'm good!
I'm also trying a new category of things you "can't go wrong with" in each request, but please don't feel like you need to stick to these!!! I like many things and would always rather get something you're excited to write than something you think will check off specific boxes for me.
Agatha All Along (TV)
Ship: Agatha Harkness/Rio Vidal
Favorite character: Agatha, but I love both!
Can't go wrong with: canon dynamics, missing moments, angst, bittersweet ending
I love these two idiots. And I love them in all of their canon splendor (okay I don't really love the finale, but it is what it is). Which is to say, I absolutely do not need a happy ending between them and am fine with keeping their dynamics totally fucked up and complicated. I'm also fine with not doing that, depending on where you want to set the fic. If you want to go pre-canon, during canon, or post-canon, that's totally cool. I'm also fine with you going completely AU with this one if you prefer, as long as their characters are recognizable.
Feel free to bring in any other characters from the series, or original characters as it suits you. The only thing I will note is that I'm not a huge fan of how much space Billy wound up taking up in the show, and I don't lurve domestic fluff so a HEA with Agatha/Rio/Nicholas isn't really my cup of tea. I have no qualms with either of them being included/referenced/driving the plot in some way, so long as it doesn't become a three-hander.
I haven't really read any AAA fic, so just about anything will be new to me. If it helps, my absolute favorite moment in the show was the bit where everyone was willing to leave Agatha behind and Rio, who was ready to kill her earlier, was specifically against Agatha's mother getting to keep her.
Alphas (TV)
Ship: Rachel Pirzad & Nina Theroux
Favorite character: Nina, by a small margin; I love them both!
Can't go wrong with: hurt/comfort, powers gone wrong, internal spiraling
Love love love Alphas. I think Rachel and Nina both have such fucking fascinating powers, and my favorite fics tend to explore the darker sides or drawbacks of those. One of my favorite episodes was the one where Rachel got strung along by the woman who could force people to feel affection towards her, and one of my favorite arcs is the one where Nina just went off the rails (and subsequently was willing to do anything to get back in everyone's good graces, even at her own expense).
Truthfully, I ship this, but I missed nominations. So feel free to hint in that direction if it's your jam, but obviously no obligation! I don't at all mind references to canon relationships or such, although I would prefer not to get a fic that kind of focuses on that. I also love the arc where they are at odds with one another after Nina's spiral, so if you prefer to explore that and not wrap everything up happily, that's totally fine!
DC's Arrowverse
Ship: Sara Lance & Zari Tomaz | Zari 1.0
Favorite character: Zari, but I really love Sara too!
Can't go wrong with: hurt/comfort, Legends missions, anything goofy
Ayy, Legends of Tomorrow! This was my favorite of the Arrowverse shows. Zari was my fave character and Sara a close second. I really love the vibe of the show itself, so I would be totally good with anything that sticks to canon tone, but I do love darker fics so I'm always fine with veering in that direction.
Honestly I enjoyed moments where Zari and Sara were at odds with one another, especially once there was that underlying sense that they had each other's backs regardless. It's hard to talk about what I might like for this because the show just spanned SO MUCH and I wish Zari 1.0 had been around for more of it. So feel free to say "fuck you" to the canon timeline if you want to throw her into something that already happened or whatnot—I do not need you to find a way to explain it, I will just roll with it. You're also welcome to bring in whichever Legends from whichever time period you feel like writing, even if it doesn't canonically make sense.
I do ship Zari/Charlie—you don't have to include that, but I would prefer any Zari/Nate stuff be either hand-waved away or referenced as something that is no longer a thing, if possible. I'm also not a huuuuge Sara/Ava fan (sorry!). I don't at all mind them being canon and being together (I don't really ship Sara with anyone else in the show), but I would love if there wasn't a heavy emphasis on them if so.
Descendants
Ship: Evie/Mal
Favorite character: Mal, but love 'em both!
Can't go wrong with: hurt/comfort, dealing with shitty parents, the Isle of the Lost is a Terrible Place, not fitting in at Auradon, smut
Descendants is my primary fandom these days and there is very little I won't read for this, so feel free to go wild. I've gone on about what I love about canon/this ship/fandom at length in other exchange letters, so feel free to stalk them if you need more thoughts and ideas. Literally any prompt I have prompted in the past is always up for grabs with Descendants. I love the dark shit here but I also love Evie and Mal just being fucking adorable or angsty or horny or whatever. Just so easy to please here tbh.
Auradon or Isle of the Lost; canon, pre-canon, post-canon, or as divergent as you want to go with canon—all good. I love their friendship with Jay and Carlos, and I don't mind Ben having been an ex of Mal's or something (or Doug as an ex of Evie's; any exes, really).
Lucifer (TV)
Ship: Eve/Maze
Favorite character: Both!
Can't go wrong with: hurt/comfort, post-canon bounty hunting, pining (canon or canon divergent), smut
I haven't actually read any Lucifer fic, but this is one of my all time favorite canon queer ships. Which is to say, I don't really have a good idea of what to request here, but anything you write will be new to me and I will be easy to please!
I loved the whole arc of Maze pining for Eve and Eve being an oblivious little dummy. I just think there was so much more than could have been explored with their dynamic if the show had the time to build up to it. I love Maze being bad with feelings (but great at kicking ass) and Eve being bad at...being a person.
Wicked (Movie 2024)
Ship: Elphaba/Galinda, Galinda/Morrible
Favorite character: Galinda
Can't go wrong with: hurt/comfort, worse-it
Full disclosure: My thought process with requesting Galinda/Morrible was only for fucked up and horrible things. But if you offered it and matched with me because you want to write something other than that, please feel free to do so all the same! Sell me on it, I'm game.
Elphaba/Galinda is such a classic ship. I have seen the Broadway show as well, so feel free to draw from that if it suits your story. I haven't read all of the book, but I think I'm familiar enough with it that it's fine to include things from that if you would like, too. My brain is very much stuck in a loop of "but what if bad things happened to Glinda after Elphaba left and she had to come back and save her," so FEEL FREE to just run with that, but again, absolutely no obligation to do so. This is one of those fandoms where I don't always know how to articulate what I am interested in, but I genuinely ship it so much that I end up enjoying pretty much anything.
Love a HEA here, but just as good with bittersweet endings that fall in line with canon (theatrical or stage), too.

Take it in the direction you feel drawn to, and I have no doubt I will enjoy it. One of my favorite things about the OW ship requests is getting to see all the different ways people approach them over various exchanges!
